- Cubs and Bulbuls tree Plantation program on 30th sept 2007.
They celebrated and planted 40 plants in the pots, under the guidance
of Prakrati Foundation Programme. Placards on nature, with slogans
and thoughts were used. Chief guest was Mr. Pawar (E.O).
- Investiture ceremony for Cubs/Bulbuls/Scouts/Guides on
3/10/07 scalves, membership badges and wogales were distributed.
Chief guest was Mrs Mamta Bhattacharya, KV 2.

- Picnic to Tikku-ji-ni-wadi on Dec 15th , Primary
student enjoyed it and had a lovely time.
- 7th National Cyber Olympiad - 37 student appeared
and passed.3 children got gold medal.
- Group dance competion for Primary children was held on 11th
Jan 2008. 4 dances were organised Housewise.
- To encourage creativity of children a Rangoli competition
was held on 27 oct 07.
The
school welcomed the onset of spring by invoking goddess Saraswati
on Vasantpanchami in the school premises on 11th Jan 2008.
The whole function was beautifully organized by Mrs. Surekha Kapur
(TGT Eng) and class 8th C the function started in the traditional
way whit the lighting of the lamp and offering flowers to goddess
Saraswati-the seat of wisdom by the honorable
Principal Mrs. Mamta Bhattacharya followed by the cultural
programme presented by the students. The day’s morning assembly,
based on the theme Vasant Ritu was conducted by class
8th C. The melodious Saraswati Vandana presented by Ms.Sandhya
of class 9th B made all remember the famous words of William Wordsworth,
“The music in my heart I wore, long after it was heard no more.”
Sakshi Singh of primary section literally painted a beautiful picture
of the Spring Season through her poem on Vasant Ritu. The rhythmic
presentation was greeted by the students with a thunderous applauds.
Mr. R.K. Gautam (TGT Sanskrit) through his enlightening
speech described the importance of Vasant Panchami
in a person’s life. This uninterrupted Sanskrit speech embellished
with beautiful Sanskrit shlokas
praising goddess Saraswati was an unforgettable experience to the
audience. The function came to a close by the thought provoking speech
of honorable Principal. Through simple examples and daily experiences
she tried to drive home the students and the importance of being honest
and sincere in one’s life she gave special emphasis on what
real education means. She blesses the students and the staff and congratulated
all the organisers and participants. The whole function was a feast
to the eyes with a real hue of spring with most of the students and
staff clad in yellow clothes –literally the school painted yellow
